Guidelines for RAE Certification
RAE is a comprehensive training and certification program designed to provide Emory Research Administrators with the base of knowledge required to meet their professional responsibilities related to research administration. Certification requires that the following criteria be met:
- Complete all Online Modules and Exams
- Attend the following courses:
- RAE Foundation Program: provides a foundation to the fundamentals of Research Administration at Emory. Attendance at all three days is required.
- Effort Reporting Course
- Complete the Application and RAE Exam
- Application/Renewal
- Exam
Guidelines for Maintaining RAE Certification
In order to maintain certification in Research Administration at Emory, candidates must complete 6 hours of continuing education per year. Continuing education includes:
- Attend Ed Series courses, NCURA TV workshops, Webinars=1.5pts
- Attend NCURA or SRA conference programming = 3pts
- Obtain CRA = 6pts
- Maintain CRA = 3pts
