RAE is a comprehensive training and certification
program designed to provide Emory Research
Administrators with the base of knowledge required
to meet their professional responsibilities related to
research administration. |

Guidelines for RAE Certification |
|
| |
In order to become certified in Research Administration at Emory (cRAE) the following criteria must be met: |
|
| |
- Stage 1: Online Modules
- Stage 2:
- RAE Foundation Program
- Effort Reporting Course
- Stage 3: Successful Completion of cRAE Application and RAE Exam
|
|
| |
In order to retain certification in Research Administration at Emory, candidates must complete 6 hours of continuing education by attending Educational Series sessions, local/national meetings and conferences, obtain and maintain CRA certification, etc. Full details can be found in the Introduction to Research Administration online module.

The online modules are a convenient, easy to use reference for obtaining necessary regulatory information. Completion of all 3 modules is a requirement for RAE Certification. |

R A E Foundation Program |

| |
The three day Foundation program provides an introduction to the fundamentals of Research Administration at Emory. Attendance at all three days is required.
