Research Administration at Emory

 
  RAE is a comprehensive training and certification program designed to provide Emory Research Administrators with the base of knowledge required to meet their professional responsibilities related to research administration.  
 
 
 

Guidelines for RAE Certification

 
  In order to become certified in Research Administration at Emory (cRAE) the following criteria must be met:  
 
  1. Stage 1: Online Modules
  2. Stage 2:
    • RAE Foundation Program
    • Effort Reporting Course
  3. Stage 3: Successful Completion of cRAE Application and RAE Exam
 
  In order to retain certification in Research Administration at Emory, candidates must complete 6 hours of continuing education by attending Educational Series sessions, local/national meetings and conferences, obtain and maintain CRA certification, etc. Full details can be found in the Introduction to Research Administration online module.
 
     
 

Online Modules

 
     
  The online modules are a convenient, easy to use reference for obtaining necessary regulatory information. Completion of all 3 modules is a requirement for RAE Certification.

R A E Foundation Program

 
     
 

The three day Foundation program provides an introduction to the fundamentals of Research Administration at Emory. Attendance at all three days is required.

February 17th, February 20th and February 27th, 2009
May 5th, May 13th and May 19th, 2009
  New dates will be added in the Fall of '09 after the PeopleSoft implementation
